Jeep Wrangler "Blue Crush" One of Six Custom Jeeps Revealed

Jeep enthusiasts - Chrylser has unvieled six new custom jeep models, including the Jeep Wrangler pictured above, dubbed the "Blue Crush", which is built for rock crawling and off-road competition. Also creating a buzz is the Jeep JK8 Independence, that goes on sale later this summer, and gives the ability to convert a standard Jeep Wrangler into a Wrangler pickup via a Mopar kit.


The six models include:


  • Jeep JK8 Independence: 37-inch Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 tires and a new body style that can convert into a pickup

  • Jeep Wrangler Renegade: Upgraded interior and 475-horsepower, 6.5 liter Hemi

  • Jeep Wrangler "Pork Chop": Lightweight Wrangler (reduced by roughly 850 lbs) and features a 3.8-liter V6

  • Jeep Wrangler "Blue Crush": Features a 426 cubic-inch aluminum block Hemi, a custom Moab blue paint job and 2.5 inch shock setup

  • Jeep Cherokee: Includes a 2.8-liter turbodiesel and a custom zebra stripe paint job

  • Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo: Features mud tires, steel springs and a two-speed transfer case

  • Jeep Compass Canyon: Features a Rocky Road Suspension lift kit and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs
