"The Mounds" Off-Road Park in Michigan: Season Opens for Mud Trucks Today

Today marks the opening of truck season at The Mounds off-road park in Genesee, Michigan. While the park is open year-round, mud trucks are not allowed from March 15 - May 15th to protect the wetlands.

In an article written by Karen Confer of The Flint Journal, they note the off-road park, one of the few public off-road parks in the state of Michigan, will be adding to its mud, trails and forest terrain this summer by constructing a more challenging rock climb area.

The Mounds is open to motorcycles, dune buggies, Jeeps, mud trucks and ATVs.

Visit their website for information on pricing and rules and regulation.
